By accessing or using Henee, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any additional policies or instructions we may provide from time to time. If you do not agree, you must not use the app. Your continued use of Henee after any update to these Terms will constitute acceptance of the revised version.
You retain all rights that you already hold in the photos, text, tags, and other materials you upload, enter, or save in Henee (“User Content”). We do not claim ownership of your User Content. However, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide license to host, store, process, display, and otherwise use your User Content solely as needed to operate the app, including creating your records, timelines, share cards, and related features.
This license is temporary and is intended only for providing the service to you. Except as required to deliver the app’s functions, we do not use your User Content for unrelated purposes.
Henee, including its software, interfaces, design, logos, text, graphics, features, and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive only the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms.
Except for your own User Content, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of Henee unless we give you prior written permission or the law clearly allows it. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our app, legal requirements, or business practices. When we do, we may post the updated version within the app or otherwise make it available to you.
It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically. If you continue using Henee after the effective date of an updated version, you will be deemed to have accepted the revised Terms.
You must be at least 17 years old to use Henee. By using the app, you represent that you are of sufficient age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement with us.
If you are using Henee on behalf of another person or entity, you also represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms for that person or entity. If you do not meet these requirements, you may not use the service.
Henee is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the app, any feature, or any content will be available at all times, or that access will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from delays.
We may change, suspend, discontinue, or restrict any part of the service at any time, with or without notice, including for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product updates. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss resulting from any such action or from temporary unavailability.
You agree not to use Henee for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive purpose. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: violating any applicable law or third-party right; uploading unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or infringing content; interfering with or disrupting the app; attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data; and using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated means to access the service without permission.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover source code, algorithms, or technical secrets except where such restriction is prohibited by law. You also may not introduce malware, attempt to overload the service, or use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
Henee is a lightweight nail-design archiving tool that helps users record and organize manicure history. The app is designed to capture a photo of a manicure and pair it with structured details such as style, colors, decorative elements, and date, then present the information in a timeline format for easier review and comparison.
Core features may include capturing or importing nail photos, selecting a manicure style, marking primary and secondary colors, adding optional element tags, choosing or adjusting the date, and generating a structured record card. Users may view records in reverse chronological order, filter by style, color, or element, edit or delete records, and create a shareable card for a single record.
The app also includes a simple purchase model based on virtual coins. New users may receive a limited number of free record creations, and additional record creation may require spending coins. Editing existing saved records is not charged in the same way as creating a new record. Henee is intended as a personal organization and reference tool, not as a medical, cosmetic, professional, or diagnostic service.
At this stage, Henee is intended to store data locally on the user’s device rather than provide cloud synchronization. Features, layouts, and supported style or element options may evolve over time as the product develops.
You may stop using Henee at any time. We may also suspend or terminate your access to some or all of the app if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the service, posed a security risk, or if we are required to do so by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the service will end immediately. Certain provisions of these Terms, including those relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law, will continue to apply as needed.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Henee solely for your own non-commercial use. This license permits you to access the app’s features for recording, organizing, reviewing, and sharing your own nail records in accordance with the intended functionality of the service.
You may not sublicense, rent, resell, distribute, or exploit the app or any of its features for commercial purposes unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Any card, tag set, timeline view, sorting result, or other output generated by Henee is produced automatically based on the information you enter and the app’s processing logic. Such output is provided for informational and organizational purposes only.
We do not warrant that generated results will be complete, accurate, current, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing all generated output before relying on it, and you assume all risk associated with use of the results.
Henee may offer consumable virtual currency, referred to as “coins,” through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Coins are used to enable certain actions in the app, such as creating additional records after free usage is exhausted. Coins are consumed when used and may not be recovered after a successful transaction or completed action, except where required by applicable law or Apple’s policies.
Coins have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are not transferable between users or accounts. Purchases are handled through Apple IAP, and any purchase, refund, or billing issue may be subject to Apple’s applicable terms and procedures. We do not guarantee that coins will always be available or that the price or consumption rate will remain unchanged.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Henee, its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to: your use of the app; your User Content; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any law or third-party right; or any allegation that your content infringes or misappropriates the rights of another person or entity.
We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of that claim.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Henee is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all implied warranties, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will meet your expectations, that it will be error-free, or that defects will be corrected. Your use of Henee is at your own discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Henee and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or similar damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app.
Even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, our total liability for any claim relating to the service will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the relevant service during the period giving rise to the claim, or to the minimum amount allowed by applicable law if no payment was made.
You are responsible for the content you submit, store, or share through Henee. You should only upload materials that you have the right to use and that do not violate privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other legal rights. If you choose to include personal or sensitive information in your records, you do so at your own discretion.
You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your device and for backing up any information you consider important. Because Henee is intended for local storage, deleting the app, clearing device data, or resetting your device may result in permanent data loss.
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them, the app, or your use of the service will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought in the courts or other competent forums that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
